Presidents Message…

As the year winds down and the holidays approach, our thoughts turn to family
and friends, home and community. Despite economic uncertainty and election
excitement, there is a calm comfort to be drawn from the character of the Barnesville-Lamar County Community and our prosperity of purpose. This appreciation of place led Virginia Legge to initiate the Depot Décor event…..to create beauty, to share experience, and to generate funds for a worthy cause. Please join in!

As President of Lamar Arts, I am impressed by the cooperative nature of our community leaders and grateful for the generosity of our members. We need
and appreciate the community support given the Art Center and Gallery and
our many endeavors. Please attend our January meeting, to give encourage-
ment and guidance to the 2009 Lamar Arts Board of Directors.
