Call to Artists

Lamar Arts is always keen to ideas that will help our Arts Center and Gallery to be noticed and appreciated.  We have a lovely gallery space and have rotating exhibits.  In conjunction with the ongoing member room exhibit, we also want to feature fresh and varying local art in the gift shop.  We’re always on the lookout for interesting artists who display excitement and passion in their work.  If you are interested in having your work featured in our exhibit area, complete our contact form and submit a sample of your artwork.

Become a Member

Lamar Arts members receive the following benefits:

• A personal invitation to every Artist’s Reception and all special events
• Receive the Lamar Arts Newsletter
• Receive a 10% discount on items purchased in the La’Mart Gift Shop
• Receive a 10% discount on all Art Work

Members are highly encouraged to attend the Annual Members’ meeting.  Artist members may exhibit their work in the Members Gallery and sell items in the La’Mart Gift Shop.

There are 5 different levels of membership:

• Student – $5.00
• Individual – $20.00
• Family – $35.00
• Donor – $50.00
• Patron – $100.00

Volunteer

Lamar Arts needs your time, talents and energy!  We need volunteers who are willing to sit in the Art Gallery, help with events and refreshments, help with fundraising or memberships, etc.  If you are interested in helping volunteer or serve on a committee, please contact us now using our online form and let us know in the message box how you can help.  We would certainly appreciate your service to the community.
