"To me music seems to be a journey of some kind, always going somewhere, telling some story; it is these journeys and stories that inspire me to paint its impressions."

 

Jerome Moorman was born in  Dublin, Georgia and studied at Tuskegee University and  Georgia State University.  He has exhibited his work throughout the state, including several one-man shows in Atlanta, Covington and Dahlonega.  The artist will be on hand for the free opening reception on October 28.
 

Guests are invited to see Moorman's work, speak with the artist and enjoy refreshments and listen to the guitar sounds of Danny Smith.  The combination of jazz music and the jazz inspired art works promises to make for a memorable evening.
